Eric

Eric was the accumulations of all my hopes and dreams as a junior, my first show dog! Eric was my gateway into showing, grooming, studying pedigrees and really getting interested in the breed as a whole.  He was my first photography subject and together, we overcame some amazing challenges. Eric also introduced me to the world of hunt work, and boy did I get hooked! Eric was incredibly loving, intelligent, biddable, had excellent bird drive and learned new things so quickly. 

Eric started having temperament issues around 16 months old that unfortunately, despite every type of help I tried to get at the time, intermittently got worse and escalated. I made the most heartbreaking decision to say Good Bye to him at 5 years old after multiple incidents. 

Eric is the driving reason behind why I advocate so strongly to achieve stable temperaments...After you live with it, you want to do everything you can to make sure no one else has to experience it.  Eric was an amazing dog at his core and I wish circumstances could I have been different. I miss him terribly and try to honor his memory & legacy of all the lessons he taught me. Eric played an important part in shaping who I am today and I'm forever thankful for that!
